Eagle 4x4
Description: Build and maintain a database-driven web store for over 3,000 products.
Year :
2025
Industry :
Automotive
Client :
Eagle 4x4
Project Duration :
6 months

Problem :
Take a dated website selling 4x4 accessories with heaps of inconsistency and create a database-driven store that is SEO-rich and has visual appeal, whilst building on a well established brand. Create spin-off sites that would be vehicle-specific and driven from the same database.

Solution :
The majority of the time was spent re-designing the database behind the website. This contains the details and images for thousands of products and their variants. Once this was completed, interfaces were built to enable the client to easily add or remove products in the database and automations created to ensure the products were listed on the store promptly.

Challenge :
The biggest challenge was ensuring that the site listings were consistent and accurate. Products cover a wide range of vehicles over many years and it was important that they were easy for the user to locate and purchase.
Summary :
This was a huge project which integrated all aspects of the business from purchasing to despatch and everything in between. I worked with my partners at DataPutty to create a highly efficient structure which utilised low-code and no-code automations and the latest applications to provide an excellent user experience.
