Problem :
Create a fun and compelling brand for a range of drift karts that were originally designed for kids, but have huge appeal for adults. The brand must also look great on merchandise and appeal to customers of all ages, from 10 years old to 60 years old.



Solution :
Create a character - Axel Bananapants, and give him a back story. Axel has the childish appeal of a fun-loving gorilla and the rebellious streak that appeals to the older karter. design the logo and typography around this concept with a website that oozes fun and excitement






Challenge :
The main challenge was to create visuals that would appeal to a broad, diverse audience of varying ages. The karts are built to carry adults and in reality that's the core market, even though the products are originally designed for kids. Maintaining an appeal for both markets was as much fun as driving the karts!
Summary :
In conjunction with the company owner, who himself is just a big kid, we found the right way to get the message across. We've brought the childishness out of the adults and we had a lot of fun doing it!
